The Wimodaughsian Library of Canisteo has reopened as of January 4 2021. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Our hours are still 10 to 4 Monday through Friday and 10 to 3 Saturdays. We are closed Sundays.
Masks are required and all books should be deposited outside in the dropbox. We are not accepting any donated books.
Thank you for your continued support.
We have missed you, and can’t wait to see you all!
We have been notified of a positive COVID test at the Wimodaughsian Library. Ten minutes after notification we closed and will remain closed until January 4 to lower the risks to patrons and staff. Please keep all borrowed materials until January 4, then leave them in the dropbox. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Please have a safe holiday season, we wish you all the best!!!
Here is a picture of our Summer Reading Raffle winner, Nathaniel Gayhart, and his family, brother Noah, sister Hannah, and father Joe. Congratulations again, Nathaniel, and keep up the good reading!
This next-to-last Garden of the Week for this summer belongs to Michele Stock, at 40 Russell Street. Look at all the beautiful flowers and decorations! It looks very welcoming and lush. Thank you Michele, for making Canisteo more beautiful!
The Wimodaughsian Library Garden of the Week belongs to Sarah Hjort, and Carl White, at 29 Russell Street. Sarah has had this place for several years and immediately started fixing up the garden. Look at how nice the arbor vitae look, which Sarah says were there when she came, but wow how they have grown! The flower bushes are also nice for all the neighbors to enjoy. Thank you Sarah and Carl, for making Canisteo more beautiful!
